Hey guys, after 30 minutes in the sun I got toasted. So much for that native american blood I grew up with. Guess I am a Twilight vampire afterall. So Vegas was fun and tiring. 4 days of non-stop hand shaking and talking and getting smothered in cigarette smoke. Few bloody noses from the dry polluted air and the conference was over and had a couple days to relax. Spent most of which designing a new version of a website coming this summer for JR Hildebrand, INDY racer.

I did draft up some ideas for the Marketplaces "Customize" feature and the Dungeon Explorer system being usable by members and non-members as a Walk-Through. Members will have the ability to track their expedition using this system rather than the leadership console which should simplify things and make it really easy for them to log.

Lots of good things in the pipeline and you can look forward to seeing them in the coming weeks. Regarding the AdSense program looks like I'm going to have to do it the hard way. In a few days I'll release some tutorials on how to configure AdSense for the Gaiscioch site. It's a lot more complicated then the way I tried to provide for you but you will have more control over the ads that appear with the new method i'll be building out. In fact if you wanted to use the space to promo your own blog or site you can. Each ad block will be a set size and you can fill it with whatever code you like. Just need to rebuild the code a bit to make it all work properly.

Now last but not least important. I want to take a moment to send prayers to all of those who have been effected by the fires in Texas, the horrible storms in the mid west, and that mother of all tornado's that ravaged across several states. If any of you have been effected or know someone that has please know you were on the forefront of my mind all week. I hope you all are well and I hope to hear from you again soon. Let me know if theres anything I can do to help.

Welcome back! Having a couple of days to relax does not mean coding websites! LOL. You should have been outside with your feet up by the pool (under an umbrella).

Thanks for your well-wishes. I too wondered if anyone in Gaiscioch was affected by the tornadoes. It is hard to keep track of everyone in such a large guild isn't it, unless you know their real names and contact info.

The Possum Kingdom fire, which is the monster fire that was primarily threatening my area, is now 100% contained and all surrounding fires around our area, some of which were caused by embers from the PK fire, are out! We had alot of storms come through which brought much needed rain. Unfortunately they also brought tornadoes but luckily they landed just west and east of me, the storms passing right over. I actually saw one of the rotating wall-clouds that spawned a nearby tornado (which is why I ended up in the tornado shelter) which was extremely frightening. All that smoke and stress from the fires, and stress from the tornadoes and hail storms, and some other factors eventually led to me battling a migraine. Think I am better today. Probably won't log in yet to give myself another day of rest. Videogames are very bad for migraine symptoms. I missed the bat-race! :(

Hope to see you again soon.

Welcome back Fog! Sounds like you had some fun and we have lots to look forward to. Sweetness.

Fairy sorry you missed the race, hope your head feels better. As the winner of the bat race I have a couple Bat morphing trinkets left and I'll run the race with just you if you want.

@ Bach

That would be too funny! When I played SWG one of my favorite things to do was racing on my speederbike against my friends on the pod racetrack. I just like racing against people. :D

You are a braver man than I, Fog. I was told my ancestry included significant Native American, but would certainly not risk facing the scary ball of sky fire based on the lore of my family. Nope, I had myself genetically tested at 23andMe, and found out that in fact there is no sign of Native American in me, and disaster was averted.

Ah as a kid i was in the sun all the time and i was darker than most the spanish folk in my neighborhood. My great grandmother (Mom's Mom) was Iroquois and even spoke it. Would have been nice to meet her before she got Alzheimer's and though I was her husband. Was a bit creepy as a 6 year old. Nice lady though :) She passed on when I was very young.
